Goals for this term

Filed under: activities, assignment — Sue Wyatt @ 5:41 pm

Have you ever set any goals for yourself?  Maybe to buy a bike or an iPod - I know my niece is often around at my place to earn money so she can buy something she really wants or to save to go on a skiing holiday on the mainland.

Sometimes though it is hard to actually achieve your goals unless you set some smaller steps to help you gain the big goal.  I have just read Aiden’s goals both personal and learning and he has decided on some steps along the way.  Read some of the other student blogs at Mrs C in Victoria.  Remember to make a comment if you have similar goals.

What would you set as a personal goal and a school goal to try and achieve by the end of term 1?  What steps would help you gain that goal by the end of term 1?

  1. Yes, I love setting goals. However, I do agree, most of the time when I do not break the goals up into easier pieces, I end up not getting anywhere close to what I wanted.

  3. i have set many goals for myself throuhout my school years. all last year i had mrs wyatt as my teacher and set many goals for myself to get my work handed in on time. this year has been so much easier we have started no projects and only have to hand in work we don’t finish in class and i finish everything in class. my goal for term one would have to be to get 50 stickers. i already have 41 and we have pleanty of time. the small steaps i need are handing my work in on time and been seen doing good things. we played a maths game and i won about 10 stickers.
